Frequently asked questions
When should I book my first pregnancy appointment?
As soon as your pregnancy test is positive, ideally before 12 weeks. Early check-ups help confirm the pregnancy, date it accurately and start supplements such as folic acid on time.
Do you support normal delivery?
Yes. Our team supports normal vaginal delivery wherever it is clinically safe for mother and baby, with a staffed labour room available 24×7. A C-section is advised only when it is the safer choice.
How often will I need check-ups during pregnancy?
Usually once a month until about 28 weeks, every two weeks until 36 weeks, and then weekly until delivery. Your doctor may advise more visits if your pregnancy is high-risk.
Is NICU care available if my baby needs it?
Yes. At our Medchal branch the NICU is next to the maternity unit, so a newborn who needs special care can be moved from the delivery room without delay. Our Shadnagar branch provides newborn care; call us to plan the right branch for your delivery.
Is maternity care covered by insurance or Aarogyasri?
Many health insurance policies cover maternity, though some have waiting periods. Our Shadnagar branch is Aarogyasri empanelled for eligible treatments. Call us before your due date and our billing desk will check your coverage.
Do you treat PCOS and period problems?
Yes. Our gynaecologists diagnose and treat PCOS, irregular or heavy periods, fibroids, cysts and infections, with ultrasound and lab tests available in the same hospital.
